Britt Carlson joined the Action News team in April 2008.
She started her journalism career on the coast of Oregon in Coos Bay at KCBY, where she reported on everything from the commercial fishing industry to the county's budget crisis.
Her real passion for reporting started in her home state of Colorado. In addition to the experience she gained at her KMGH-TV Denver internship, Britt also attended the University of Colorado at Boulder graduating with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
When she's not reporting the latest North State news, Britt enjoys working out, riding her bike and heading to the mountains to ski and snowboard.
