Weekend Sports Anchor and Week Day Sports Reporter Lee Carrell is very familiar with the North State, because he grew up here.  Born and raised in Chico, Lee is a proud graduate of both Pleasant Valley High School and more recently Chico State.

He started working at KHSL and KNVN as a part time employee when he was 19.  He slowly climbed the ladder and was able to shift over to the Sports Department around his 20th birthday.

Lee continued to work part time in the Sports Department and go to school until March of 2008 when he took over the Sports Weekend Anchor duties as a full time employee.  Two months later in May, he got his degree from Chico State in Communication Design.

When he's not working, Lee enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and girlfriend, as well as helping out at his church, EV Free.
