Owen Clark joined the Action News team as a night-side reporter in September of 2006. A proud graduate of the University of Colorado School of Journalism, Owen is an Oakland native and is glad to trade in those Colorado winters and return home to Northern California.
Owen gained most of his broadcast experience while in college, interning at WB2 in Denver and working at the school's student news program NewsTeam Boulder. His favorite moments include conducting interviews with Denver Broncos and Nuggets players, as well as directing a broadcast of Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse game.
When he's not working, Owen spends most of his time playing, reading, or talking about sports. And also considers himself a bit of a movie buff. You might also find him floating down the river, reading a book outside a coffee shop, or cooking a slab of meat on his grill while soaking up the wonderful Chico weather.
Owen's parents still live in the Bay Area, where his dad works as an editor for the Wall Street Journal and his mom works at Cal Berkeley. His younger brother Cameron is currently a film in student Southern California.
