Applicant should have high skill level in soldering, wiring, schematic reading, audio and video processing and will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and support of studio equipment including cameras, microphones and other equipment related to TV broadcasting. He/she must be capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 70 lbs and have sufficient dexterity to get into limited access areas to service equipment. Applicant should have knowledge of TV RF, microwave, and computer IT systems. Good communication skills and enthusiastic interaction with the news and production staff is essential. Three years experience in broadcast television or related fields is important and knowledge of digital broadcast equipment is a plus. Applicant must have the legal right to work in the United States.
