Paradise police are on the trail of an alleged identity thief and investigators hope surveillance photographs will help them nab the suspect. Police say a woman used a counterfeit ID to transfer funds from someone else's bank account to a newly opened account. She then travelled to Chico where she attempted to withdraw funds from the newly opened account. They're not saying how much money is involved.
