The Butte County Elections Office has released updated numbers from Tuesday's election showing a clearer picture in several close races.
In the Chico City Council race, Randall Stone is holding on to the fourth and final seat.
In the latest results his lead has grown to 268 votes over Andrew Coolidge.
That lead was just 8 votes one day after the election.
Current mayor Ann Schwab and newcomers Tami Ritter and Sean Morgan remain in the top three spots.
The updated results include a count of vote-by-mail ballots that were dropped off at the precincts on Election Day.
Elections officials are still working to sort and county 5,500 provisional ballots that were collected Tuesday.
The race for Biggs Unified School District remains tight between Travis Smith and Robin Clark.
Clark now leads Smith by just seven votes for the second seat on the school board.
Clark was trailing by ten voted on Election Night.
In that race Kari Wheeler is comfortably holding on to the top spot.
John Busch is holding on to a 16 vote lead over Mike Bottorff for the second seat on the Biggs City Council.
Roger Frith is holding on to the top spot in that race.
If you would like to learn more about the process of counting the ballots and when officials hope to deliver the final results, watch the story from our evening broadcast that is attached to this page.
