The Tehama County man accused of molesting a young girl at his wife's childcare center, now faces additional charges after authorities say there are more victims.
Ralph Martin was arrested last week after he allegedly fondled a young girl at the daycare center in Gerber.
Martin appeared in a Tehama County courtroom Wednesday morning, where he was charged with three additional crimes.
The D.A.'s office says the new charges stem from three additional victims of Martin's alleged molestation. There are now a total for 6 charges against the 64-year-old, but at this time it is unclear how many victims there are.
Last week Martin's wife told Action News, that investigators informed her there were at least 8 victims.
Martin was not arraigned on the new charges Wednesday because his attorney had a conflict. He has been appointed a new attorney and will be back in court on November 20th.
Tehama county district attorney Greg Cohen has said this case is "huge" and continues to grow. He has called a press conference for Thursday to reveal more information about the case.
