Chico Police Looking for Carjacking Suspects

      Chico Police are on the lookout for the suspects involved in an armed carjacking. It happened around 3:05 a.m. at the Chevron station on Nord Avenue. Police say 2 men approached the victim's vehicle. One of the men blocked the path of the car and pointed a shotgun at the victim, while the other struck the driver in the face and pulled him from the vehicle. The suspects then kicked the man in the head and torso before taking off in his vehicle. They are described as a black man in his 40's and a white man in his 20's. Both have slim builds and were seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black pants. The vehicle is a 2003 tan Mercedes 4-door with Washington plates, ABA5527. Anyone with information is asked to call Chico Police at 897-4911.
