Chico residents have turned out in large numbers to dine on gourmet soup to help others. For a $10 donation, folks got to pick out a beautiful ceramic bowl created by students in Chico schools, then fill it with homemade soup donated by local restaurants. It's an annual fundraiser for the Torres Community Shelter. Empty Bowls took place in the gym at Chico Junior High School.
