A three-year-old Los Molinos boy was killed and his mother suffered major injuries in an accident Friday afternoon on Highway 99 in Tehama County. CHP officers say the mother pulled out of a parking lot directly into the path of a motorhome that was headed South on Highway 99 through Dairyville. The accident happened around 3:15pm and blocked traffic for about an hour. Although CHP officers say it appears the motorhome was going below the speed limit, the sedan sustained major damage. The boy's mother was flown to a local hospital with major injuries. A 13-year-old boy who was also in the car was flown to the hospital with moderate injuries. Nobody in the motorhome was injured, according to officers on the scene.
