A U.S. Forest Service fire captain has not regained consciousness since being injured during a dive into shallow water in the Yuba River.  Mark Davis works with the U.S. Forest Service in Oroville.  He appeared to have a seizure Sunday after a head-first dive into the Yuba River near Bridgeport.

Friends pulled him from the water, but it took 20 minutes to notify emergency responders because of a lack of cell phone service.  Davis had no feeling or movement from the neck down.  He was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
