A suspect is behind bars in connection with a gang-related shooting in
Gridley.
22 year old Gregorio Guzman was taken into custody at his home in Biggs this morning for assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say the shooting happened just after eleven o'clock Friday night ... during a fight between rival gang members outside the "Fast Trip" gas station.
22 year old Roy Diaz of Gridley was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his back.
Gridley Police Chief Gary Keillor told Action News the confrontation appears to have been spontaneous, not in retaliation for other recent gang shootings.
He also said more arrests are expected.###
