Girl Scouts are honoring 100 women leaders in California as part of their 100th anniversary.
Three of them were recognized at a luncheon in Chico Wednesday for "greening" the future ... paving the way and serving as role models for young girl scouts to become future leaders.
Judy Sitton, Annette Russ and Action News Assignment Manager Debbie Cobb were the honorees.
Marina Park, the CEO of Girl Scouts of Northern California, told Action News,"We're recognizing women who've contributed through education, the arts, philanthropy, global service ... It's very inspiring."
Debbie, a former Girl Scout, has authored two children's books, is active with Friends of the Library, and served on the Board of the Chico Salvation Army.
Girl Scouts is 23 million members strong ... with 59 million living alumni.###
