Gridley Police are investigating a suspected gang related shooting that took the life of an 18-year-old man.
It happened around 7 p.m. Monday.
Police say they believe the shooting happened at the intersection of Indiana St. and Cedar St, but officers did not learn of the shooting until friends brought Alonso Robles-Morales to Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital.
He was then flown to Enloe Medical Center with a gunshot wound, but died from his injuries Tuesday.
Officers are looking into several leads, but have not made any arrests at this time.
