The third in a series of strong storms to hit the North State this week has left hundreds without power and crews clearing downed trees.
As of Sunday morning at about 9:40 a.m; among some of the widespread power outages included:
Chico, 522; Paradise; 678; Oroville area; 1,018; Hamilton City; 98; Concow; 680; Canyon Dam at Lake Almanor; 1,873; Shingletown; 285; Palo Cedro; 98.
PG&E says it has all hands on deck trying to restore power to storm-affected areas. City and county public work crews throughout the north valley are also out clearing downed trees in streets and clearing storm drains where localized flooding has occurred.
The Sacramento River is gradually rising as predicted. The river at the Tehama Bridge where it is expected to rise near flood state by noon has crept to 207 feet above sea level, still three feet below monitor stage. The river level at Hamilton city is still at 233 feet, well below flood stage.
