Police in Redding are looking for two additional suspects in a shooting outside the AMPM station at the corner of Cascade Blvd and Oasis road in North Redding.

The incident started around 3:20 this afternoon. Police say brothers Steven and David Jones pulled in to the gas station to fuel up. A white sedan pulled along side and the driver demanded money. When the brothers refused to give them money, the suspects pointed a gun at them.

The brothers sped away from the scene in their early model rust colored truck, but they quickly ran out of gas. They came to a stop near the California Highway Patrol office on Cascade Blvd.

The suspects raced up behind them, jumped the curb and pulled in front, blocking the trucks path. The victims tell police it was at that time that the suspects fired at them.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The victims in the truck got their vehicle running and sped away in reverse.

Police arrived on scene around that time and tracked down the suspect vehicle. It was found about a mile and a half north of the scene on Wintu Drive.

Police say Joshua Julian Charles Miller, 28-years-old of Redding, was identified as the shooting and has been arrested.  He is charged with attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing a firearm, terrorist threats, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Two other suspects, a white male and a white female are still outstanding.
