Funeral arrangements are being made for North State music legend and famed harmonica player Norton Buffalo. Buffalo was just recently diagnosed with stage 'four' lung cancer. He spent more than three decades with the Steve Miller band and also recorded with artists Bonnie Raitt, the Doobie Brothers and Kenny Loggins. He even had a cameo role in the movie, "The Rose." For the past several years Buffalo had been participating in numerous fundraisers on the Ridge. A benefit concert to help pay for his medical bills, has turned into a memorial event of sorts. It will be held at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, Sunday November 22nd. The event is nearly sold out. Norton Buffalo was just 58 years old.
