One of the North State's hidden gems will soon get more national attention.  A film crew from public television is filming a special for its "Nova" series, on the Sacred Stones project at the Abbey of New Clairvaux in Vina.  The Abbey is building a chapter house made in part with stones from Spain that are more than 800 years old.

"Nova's" interest in the chapter house is the medieval engineering and construction.  The Sacred Stones Development Director Bob McMullin said "we're one of the very few sites in the country where you can see these engineering innovations in action."

It's not known when the "Nova" special on the Sacred Stones will air.  As for the chapter house itself, it still needs two million dollars more in donations, and it should be finished within three years.
