The forecast for snow was correct!
A cold weather system has brought snow to the foothills and mountain areas of the North State.
On the Cohasset Ridge in Butte County there were about two inches of snow Friday morning above the 25-hundred foot level.
Areas higher up ... including Butte Meadows, Chester and Susanville ... could get as much as 3 to five inches of snow by the time the system passes through.
You should definitely check travel conditions if you are heading to the higher elevations.##
