Chico Police are investigating two separate stabbings that happened early Thursday morning.
In the first incident, officers were called to an apartment on the 1100 block of West Sacramento Avenue around 1 o'clock Thursday morning for the stabbing victim.
It's not known what led to the stabbing.
The victim was taken to the hospital. Police arrested 30-year-old Shanda Mollison on suspicion of murder.
Then, shortly after 4 o'clock Thursday morning, police got a call for another stabbing at a residence on the 1100 block of Magnolia Avenue.
Chico Police say this one may have been an interrupted burglary.
They have no suspects in custody in either incident at this time.
