A PG&E power outage in eastern Shasta County left 1235 customers in the dark this morning.
The outage started around 8:40 this morning and was caused by a combination of a faulty piece of PG&E equipment, and high winds.
PG&E spokesman Paul Moreno said a line recloser opened, possibly because it came in contact with other lines, or a nearby tree.
Power was restored at 10:08 this morning and there have been no problems since.
The outage forced the closure of Grant School and Igo-Ono School for the day.
