Redding Police are tight-lipped about the suspicious death of a toddler.
Action News reporters learned of the death in a news release from "Secret Witness of Shasta County."
It said a 21-month-old child was taken to U.S. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento on February 28th, 2013, with major injuries to the head and internal organs.
The child died March 4, 2013.
Secret Witness is offering a five-thousand dollar reward for information .. citing the crime's location as "Hartnell Avenue" or a home on "Bramble Place."

Meanwhile, Redding Police Sgt. Brian Barner says detectives are waiting for an autopsy report, and that the police officials will issue more information about the case when they're further along in the investigation. ###
