Deputies in Shasta County have released as sketch of a suspect they believe shot a man vacationing in Ingot last month.
The victim, Emanuel Kourkoulos, was honeymooning with his wife on September 4th. The pair stopped along Highway 299 so Kourkoulos could use the restroom. When he returned to his car, a white male was standing behind the vehicle holding a pistol. In an attempt to protect his wife, Kourkoulos fought the man and was shot once in the chest. The suspect fled the scene on a motorcycle. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.
Secret Witness of Shasta County is offering 5,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
