Butte County Sheriff's Officials are still searching for a suspect in a stabbing that happened in Honcut Monday afternoon.
Deputies were responded to the 9000 Block of Palermo-Honcut Highway, Near Central House Road ... just after 3:30 p.m.
Flight Care was called in to air lift the victim to a local hospital.
Sgt. Marty Rolph says it was a man who had been stabbed in the back.
There were six Deputy patrol cars at the rural mobile home when Action News Crews arrived on scene at 4:30 p.m., but they left minutes later.
Rolph couldn't comment about the circumstances of the crime, but he did tell us no one has been arrested.
Undersheriff Kory Honea said they are looking for  a heavy-set, hispanic man with a shaved head.
He is heavily tatooed ... one that says "Marysville" is across the neck ... and both arms are completely covered with them.
The suspect may be driving a blue Honda.
Contact the Butte County Sheriff's Office if you have any information.
