A three car crash today at a busy Redding intersection sent two people to the hospital. It happened at about three o'clock on Hartnell Avenue at Cypress. Witnesses say an SUV hit a black Acura that was attempting to make a turn. A red Hyundai was also hit. A teenage girl riding in the passenger seat of the Acura had to be freed from the wreckage with the jaws of life, before she was transported to an area hospital. The driver of that car was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash closed one lane of Harnell avenue for about an hour.
