Emergency responders were kept busy Monday morning because of three separate car crashes on the same stretch of Highway 99, within 15 minutes of each other.
The first accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 99 south at Estates Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver rear-ended another car at the intersection ... Causing traffic to back-up.
CHP officer Torrey Rodgers told Action News at the scene that, "Because of traffic backing up due to the first one blocking the intersection resulted in the second one, and then as I was arriving on scene another one occurred."
Fortunately no one was hurt.
Officers say the last two accidents were a result of drivers not slowing down in time when traffic was stopping near the intersection.
