Chico firefighters were called to a parking lot at the corner of East Avenue and Cohasset for a vegetation fire behind Burger King. Fire officials haven't said how the fire started, but it was first reported at about 2:45pm Wednesday afternoon. Chico firefighters responded with several engines and knocked the flames down within minutes. The flames did not spread to several nearby buildings, and no injuries were reported.
