Just after 5 o'clock Thursday evening, Willows firefighters were called to a structure fire at Willows Sycamore Apartment complex. When crews arrived, the unit was engulfed in flames. A mother and her son were able to escape safely. Willows police now say the 10 year old boy living at the apartment was playing with matches, and has been taken into custody at the Jane Hahn Juvenile Hall and charged with Unlawfully Causing a Fire.
