It's always nice to hear about those stories that don't sound very good in the start but finish up with a great ending!  This is one of those, about a Chico man, who's helped many by raising money thru golf tournaments at Tuscan Ridge, and suddenly found himself in need of some help.

With every step Brandon Clark takes he's road to recovery moves forward.  With every breath, life is a becomes a little more normal again, and that would be just fine, after winning the fight of his life.  A bout that started with flu like symptoms in early june.

Worse is an understatement.  Clark who has been the tournament director at Tuscan Ridge for the last four years, very physically fit and healthy, was eventually admitting into intensive care at enloe hospital.

While being treated, he was in a medcial form of sedation for five weeks, before he was flown by helicopter to U.C. Davis medical center, where somehow, he started to recover.

After being released from Davis, clark looked like a shell of the healthy man he had recentley been.

But now, the weight is slowly returning, along with about 25% of his strength and 50% of his lung capacity.  This friday, his golf course, Tuscan Ridge is putting it's best effort to help their guy who has helped out many in the past, with his own recovery tournament, with the proceeds going to his medical expenses.

Another part of his recovery... Getting back to the job he loves.
