Tehama County Sheriff's deputies say a kayaker reported missing this week, has safely returned home. They had been searching the Sacramento River near Red Bluff, looking for 43-year-old Charlie Lewis of Red Bluff. His mother reported him missing Thursday after he told his family he was going kayaking on Monday, but hadn't been seen since. Late Friday morning, his mother called to report her son had returned home.
