Fire crews are battling several lightning fires in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The Trinity Fire is the largest. It's burned 180 acres and is located in steep, rugged terrain about seven miles north of Denny in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. 100 firefighters, including smoke jumpers, hot shot crews and air support are battling the blaze. So far they have contained the western flank of the fire.
Ten of the 13 fires reported since Wednesday are either out or contained.
