She's only 20 years old, but Chico native Ava Knight sure packs a big punch.
Knight made her professional boxing debut two years ago and since then she's piled up five wins, no losses, and two draws.
Now this young knockout has her game face on for her next big fight, competing for the WBC Flyweight World Title coming up on August 29th in Mexicali, Mexico.
But as strong a fighter as she is, you'd never guess it by her calm demeanor, a quality she takes with her when she steps in the ring.
Knight will be practicing in Chico before leaving for Mexicali on August 25th.
