The Marine Corps has confirmed the death of 20-year-old Casey Holmes.
The Chico High alumnus died Monday during a training exercise at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California.
The Marines are not releasing any details about the accident that killed Holmes, but say the incident is currently under investigation.
Meanwhile, Holmes family in Chico is still working to cope with the loss of the 2011 Chico High graduate.
