Glenn County's Legal Counsel has run into some legal trouble himself.
64 year old Huston Carlyle, Jr. was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash near Elk Creek Sunday night.
The CHP says Carlyle was heading west on Highway 162 when his cadillac drifted off the road, he over-corrected, and hit a bridge guard rail...causing his car to overturn. It ended up in a ravine, and officers say a passerby in a jeep managed to secure the car with a line ... to stop it from going farther down the slope.
Carlyle was not hurt.
He was booked into the Glenn County jail, and was released early monday morn
