If you're looking for some patriotic fireworks on the Fourth of July... there are plenty of public shows taking place in the North State.
Fireworks are back at Lake Oroville this year... and promise to be more spectacular than ever. If you're not on a boat,the most popular viewing location will be on the dam.
In Chico, there are fireworks scheduled after the Sprint Car Races at the Silver Dollar Speedway.
A fireworks show is also scheduled in the city of Biggs, at the high school football field.
Willows will set off fireworks at Jensen Park.
The Fourth of July "Freedom Festival" gets underway at the Redding Convention Center at 4:30 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for 10:00 p.m.
Farther north, the fireworks go off at Lake Siskyou at 9:45 p.m. ###
