Early Saturday morning, Chico Police responded to a report of a stabbing in front of 7-11 in downtown Chico. When officers showed up on scene, they determined there was one victim suffering from three stab wounds to the torso. All of the suspects involved in the fight had already fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is being treated for non-life threatening wounds from the incident. The victim is expected to make a full recovery after a short stay at the hospital. The victim is not a local student but is from the Chico area. The Chico Police Department is still investigating this incident and ask that any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information call 897-4900.
