Recap: Wyoming vs. Boise State

Laramie, WY (Sports Network) - Francisco Cruz scored 16 points to lead the Wyoming Cowboys to a 64-54 win over the Boise State Broncos in Mountain West Conference action at Arena Auditorium.

Leonard Washington had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds and Luke Martinez chipped in 10 points for Wyoming (19,9, 5-7 MWC) which snapped a four game losing streak.

Kenny Buckner scored 10 points and was the only player in double figures for Boise State (13-14, 3-9) which had won three of four entering the game.

Wyoming led 32-26 at the break after shooting 44.8 percent from the floor while limiting Boise State to just 36.4 percent in the opening period.

In the second half the Cowboys led by as many as 12 points and held the Broncos to just 30.3 percent shooting on its way to the win.

Boise State held a 37-33 edge on the boards and had its bench outscore Wyoming's alternates 25-8. Wyoming outscored the Broncos 16-8 on points off turnovers.
