Recap: Bradley vs. Loyola-Chicago

Peoria, IL (Sports Network) - Ben Averkamp's 19-point, 10-rebound effort propelled the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers past the Bradley Braves 56-44 in a BracketBuster game at Carver Arena.

Joe Crisman added 10 points for the Ramblers (7-19), who had lost 12 of their previous 13 games.

Jalen Crawford scored 12 points for the Braves (7-22) who have lost three straight and five of their last six. Walt Lemon, Jr. added 11 points, while Jordan Prosser and Jake Eastman hauled down seven boards apiece.

Bradley led by four early before Loyola took a 23-22 halftime lead. The Ramblers shot 42.9 percent from the floor in the first half.

Loyola led by as many as 12 in the second half.

The Ramblers enjoyed a 36-27 edge on the glass.
