New York, NY (Sports Network) - Georgetown sophomore forward Greg Whittington was suspended for Saturday's game against St. John's due to a violation of team rules.
Whittington, the team's second-leading scorer and rebounder, is averaging 12.1 points and 7.0 boards per contest.
Georgetown routed the Red Storm, 67-51, to avoid its first 0-3 Big East start since 2000.
