Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies and pitcher Antonio Bastardo have agreed to a one-year contract worth $1.4 million.

The deal, which also includes performance bonuses, avoids salary arbitration.

The 27-year-old lefty is 12-9 with nine saves and a 4.02 ERA in 160 career games.
