Raptors bring in Pietrus

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors have signed swingman Mickael Pietrus to an undisclosed contract.

Pietrus has averaged 8.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 538 games over nine seasons with Golden State, Orlando, Phoenix and Boston. He appeared in 42 games for the Celtics last season and averaged 6.9 points with 3.1 rebounds.

The Raptors opened a roster spot by waiving forward Dominic McGuire. He averaged 2.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15 games this season.
